CSI Summer Camp is a fun and challenging experience for middle school and high school students to get hands-on and behind the scenes of CSI — crime scene investigation. Campers will find out more about forensics, learning about evidence collection and preservation while working a variety of mock crime scenes.
The camp is taught by faculty with experience in criminal justice and criminalistics experts who will lead campers through on-site demonstrations, fingerprints and blood spatter, photography, and more! Campers will be involved in:
- Lifting fingerprints, casting foot and tire impressions, and drawing and photographing evidence;
- Learning about types of bugs and how they relate to crime scene decomposition; and,
- Digging up human remains.
Students will participate in indoor and outdoor instruction. If accommodations are needed, contact the Office of Accessibility Services
