Pasco County’s Building Construction Services Department (BCS) invites you to an exclusive, behind-the-scenes event where you’ll learn how building codes keep our homes and community safe!
Join us for an inside look at BCS operations, the real reasons behind building codes and more.
WHAT: Behind the Scenes with BCS
“This is a great chance for our community to gain valuable insights into how building codes protect Pasco families,” says BCS Director JP Murphy. “Our team will be able to answer your questions and show you why you can trust our processes—before and after disasters strike.”
Event Includes:
• Opening presentation
• Demonstrations of our online permitting tool, PascoGateway; the reasons to meet building code
requirements; and the benefits of using licensed contractors
• “Behind-the-Scenes” tour of BCS
• Q&A session with team members, including permitting technicians, review and plans examiners,
code inspectors, supervisors, and building officials
• Refreshments and take-home materials to help guide you through the upcoming storm season
